I was listening to the radio a few days back and they were discussing Christmas novelty songs, and Porky Pig's Blue Christmas was mentioned. I'd heard it before, but it had been a long time, so I did a search on Google, and one of the first links I found had it playing. I had forgotten how funny it was! Here's the link:

One thing to note: the actual people behind this version were two North Carolina DJ's who released the song as "Seymour Swine and the Squealers". However, considering how the it sounds as if Porky Pig was singing it, it's not unusual to have local radio DJ's refer to the singer as Porky Pig.

In fact, Warner Bros. Consumer Products finally capitalized on this in recent years by marketing an animated Santa Porky figure that sings the song (a la the singing James Brown dolls, etc. that you see everywhere).
I only know of this toy via eBay, so you've got me if this has ever actually been seen on a store shelf somewhere.

Comic Mark McCollum is the voice behind "Blue Christmas." In his stand up act Mark also does a great Reggae Popeye song where he imitates both Popeye and Olive Oyl.

It's been a while, but I think I remember seeing him on TV doing Elmer Fudd singing I'm in the Mood for Love (wuv). :D

You shouldn't have to click anything, it should automatically start playing when you visit the link. But there are a pair of play/pause buttons toward the bottom of the page, just underneath where it says (erroneously) "Porky Pig's Blue Christmas by Mel Blanc".

Mark McCollum as Porky Pig performing Blue Christmas can be heard here.

Scroll down to nearly the bottom of the page. Do yourself a favor and listen to Reggae Popeye, which is just below Blue Christmas. Funny stuff!

I've gone to the Toon Tracker web page, but I haven't been able to find the link for Mark McCollum's songs. What part of the site do I need to look in?
I also remembered another song I heard on the radio that Mark did as Ozzy Fudd (Elmer as a heavy metal singer :befuddled ) singing a metal version of Kill da Wabbit. :D
Here's a link to download the song:
