Nice to see the Pink PAnther Cartoon DVD back on the Radar. Hopefully the Mr. Magoo and Harveytoons sets can follow suit.

However, Shouldn't this be fowarded to the News section.

Of course , you are right but I do not why but I was not able to open a new thread here in the News section ! I tried 4 or 5 times before opening a thread in the Termite Terrace section....A mistery ....Thanks very much to the moderator who moved it in the correct section .

P. S. : I'm waiting for an official annoucement of the Harveytoons dvd set delayed months ago....I really would like to see good copies of Buzzy , Herman and Katnip and assorted Noveltoons and Screen Songs....

Actually, I just saw that four DVDs of Harveytoons is scheduled for release in Norway in January. There was no information at all about the relase, just that Harveytoons vol1-4 will be released January 18th.

Regular users can not start threads in the GAC News section. Only mods and admins can. However, as you know, we do move news posts created on the TTTP onto the News board.

Just a warning, guys...

The complete Pink Panther cartoon set was released in regions 2 and 4 with fake letterboxing. I think the tops and bottoms were cut off for every cartoon, either that or stretched to fit a 1.85:1 shape. Just an example of those rare occasions when widescreen is not what you want to have...

Hopefully it is corrected in the Region 1 release.

The fake letterbox thing is true for the British region 2 version. {Obscene gesture deleted!} The German set was fullscreen OAR - the cartoons were dubbed over though, no original audio; that's why I hope for a flawless region 1 DVD package, I really can't stand the silly rhymes anymore.
