Default Funniest cameo appearance

APES OF WRATH came on BOOM recently and the end there with Daffy got a giggle out of me. I haven't seen that one in ages. Bugs Bunny's I'm gonna smack you look on his face, to the camera(like in Duck Amuck or the Bugs cartoon of the same kind-the name escapes me), was priceless.

That kind of humor is a huge part of what makes Warner cartoons funny to me. I've posted before that Daffy's humiliated to much in late cartoons but all and all I enjoy the friendly rivalry he and Bugs have. That look on Bugs' face was so great because it reminded you of some of their other cartoons. Bugs usually got the best of Daffy before then out comes Daffy at the end of APES OF WRATH and Bugs immediately turns to the camera with that priceless expression. Funny stuff.

Did anyone else find this funny? What your favorite cameo spot?

For me, nothing will ever top Bugs's cameo at the end of Porky Pig's Feat.

"Don't work, do they?"

Tweety in "No Barking" gets a huge laugh every time (and it's so funny they repeat it again at the end, and it also gets a laugh).

There are a few cameos in cartoons:

1. Little Audrey ("How Green Is My Spanich")
2. Donald, Goofy, Huey, Dewey, Louie & Daisy ("Pluto's Christmas Tree")
3. Bugs Bunny ("Porky Pig's Feat")

There was also Pepe Le Pew in a cameo in a Tweety & Sylvester cartoon, but I forgot the name of the title and Woody Woodpecker in a cameo in a Chilly Willy cartoon. I forgot the name either.

That cartoon was called Dog Pounded. I liked that one because...well, I don't know. It was probably one of Friz's better endings to his Sylvester/Tweety cartoons and no one really questions why a Chuck Jones creation would suddenly be seen in a Freleng cartoon.

Anyway, my other favorite cameo was on False Hare where Foghorn just pops out of the tree after the wolf asks if anyone would like to join a chicken club.

There were, from my understanding, two. One in Sid Marcus's "Fractured Friendship" and other in Paul Smith's "Chilly Chums"

I always thought it would've been fun if Tweety had popped up in one of McKimson's Sylvester shorts with Sylvester Jr. and/or Hippety Hopper.

What I find interesting is that Pepe made his appearance in "Dog Pounded" the same year that Tweety made his cameo in "No Barking." It's almost as if Freleng and Jones agreed to "trade" characters for surprise cameos. Which may in fact be the case.
